Please come join us to gain an insight on a social issue that is affecting one of our vulnerable populations in Reno, Nevada. We are UNR students majoring in Social Work that are advocating on behalf of the vulnerable population who are affected by high age requirements of the Nevada Frail Elderly Waiver. The waiver currently has the age requirement of 65 years old. We know that aging does not discriminate on age. Some people face ageing prior to turning 65 and are left feeling hopeless as they do not fit requirements for aide.
