I recently watched an amazing series called Ice Pilots on Amazon Prime. It's a company based in Canada that flies WWII planes. The DC-3, DC-4, T-36, Water Bombers, and Lockheed Electras to name a few. The viewer get the opportunity to hear all of the ins and outs of owning such planes, the difficulty in finding parts and the joy of finding plane graveyards.
The viewer finds out what it takes to become a pilot of these difficult to fly birds and, most importantly, you fly right along with the pilots and trainers in the cockpit.
In addition you ride along in the cockpit with the Canadian Snow birds and visit various shows that feature vintage airplanes. That is just a brief summary of the seasons this show features.
