NNDDA has been cordially invited to attend the Community Fundraiser and Meet and Greet for Healthcare Professionals. This event is being held to support the election of Debbie Smith to the Nevada State Senate. The event will be held Tuesday, August 28th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Reno offices of McDonald Carano Wilson LLP 100 W Liberty St (Museum Tower) on the 10th Floor.

Light refreshments will be served on the outdoor deck with suggested minimum contributions of $50. For anyone who is interested in attending, please RSVP to Riley at 775-393-9587 or email her at [email protected].

NNDDA has been cordially invited by The Nevada Nurses Association to attend a Legislative Meet & Greet October 5 at the Grand Sierra Resort from 6:30-9:00pm. With regard to changes taking place in healthcare, the Meet & Greet will be an informal gathering with candidates for office and opportunities for participants to discuss issues of importance and their profession with people seeking office.

There will be tables set aside for us to provide flyers and information to be displayed as well as a poster presentation. If you have posters (or students interested in preparing one or more), please consider displaying them.

If you haven't already, you can renew memberships either online via Paypal on the NDA website at www.nevadard.org under the Leadership & Districts tab or fees can be made payable to NNDDA along with the membership form to NNDDA Treasurer Deanna Bradburn, RD at 7833 Zafiro Ct, Sparks, NV 89436. Membership dues will remain at $15 general; $5 Retired/Student. The NDA is currently in the process of updating their website and forms however we are currently accepting this form till updates are completed.
