Hi there we are all about supporting our local community clubs. There is a small local show being held 9/13 (in Carson City) and this would be a small and fun way to try out showing poultry as youth or as an adult! Hurry deadline to enter is Tomorrow 9/1.

The ban on poultry shows has been lifted and we are go to hold the poultry component from our February 2025 show. The show is scheduled for September 13. Entries are now live and close on September 1. Details on the flier attached. You can enter here https://shows.phoenixshowsystems.com/

Please join us at the NNPFA poultry show for the first annual High Stakes Serama Showdown table top show. Watch the world's smallest chickens strut their stuff. For the youth who want to show we have a free pair of Serama. You must contact me in advance.

Only 2 more poultry swap and sales left this year! Come check us out! Drop off your healthy unwanted roosters (9am-12pm) at the Reno CAL Ranch store (3400 Keitzke Ln) there will be chicks, young hens and young roosters available from multiple local breeders. Stop by say hi, check out the chickens and chicken related items for sale or hang out and just talk about our feathered friends! It’s free to shop, but you must be a member to sell(sign up day of the swap). Nnpfa.com

Our monthly poultry swaps are going strong! Located on the sidewalk at the South Reno CAL Ranch store 9-12pm. July 19th is our next one. There will be local sellers with various poultry breeds at various ages, waterfowl too, usually hatching and eating eggs available. Our rooster surrender program is still in full swing, please bring your roosters early so we can find homes during the event. More information is on our website nnpfa.com

Jordan Haggard did a fantastic job leading this one. She’s been a huge advocate for new and youth exhibitors, and her clinic was one of the most anticipated of the year. We’re lucky to have her insight, and now you can catch the whole thing on your own time.

Note: due to the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza ban we can not allow feathered/grown birds at our swaps at this time. Our rooster surrender program is still in full swing but we will have to meet you at a different location and is not happening during our swaps. Message us to make arrangements for this unwanted roosters.
