As part of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, ACCESS team members shared some of the memorable health advice, home remedies, and sayings they grew up hearing from their moms, grandmas, tías, and other loved ones.

From “Ponte un suéter” to “No salgas con el pelo mojado” and “Tómate un té,” these words have been passed down through generations, carrying love, care, and a connection to our culture.

Today, we're proud to highlight the stories, family photos, and cherished memories shared by our staff. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us celebrate the traditions that continue to shape who we are.

These counselors work with older adults, individuals with disabilities, the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and family caregivers to help them explore various services, resources, and programs available to them at no cost.
