Hyve Solutions has selected Reno for its flagship advanced manufacturing campus in Nevada, a facility dedicated to the compute, storage, and networking systems behind AI, cloud, and digital infrastructure.

Paired with an additional Hyve facility in North Las Vegas, the two campuses are expected to create approximately 3,000 new jobs statewide, with hiring already underway across production, engineering, and operations roles.

A thriving university and a proud athletics tradition are part of what makes Northern Nevada a great place to live, work, and do business. That's why we're excited to see Major Investor University of Nevada bring back A Legendary Night, the annual Nevada Football Auction, on Saturday, October 3rd at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.

This year's event honors the 1990 Nevada football team and its historic run to the FCS National Championship game, while raising funds that support the program's continued growth. Guests will join Head Coach Jeff Choate, coaching staff, student-athletes, and members of the 1990 team for the celebration.

Six companies expanding in Northern Nevada have been approved for state tax abatements by the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development - GOED board, a step expected to create more than 1,000 jobs and generate over $105 million in new tax revenue across Washoe, Storey, and Lyon counties.

Spanning advanced manufacturing, industrial packaging, data centers, and metals fabrication, these projects reflect the industries choosing to build and grow here. Northern NV Now supported each through the site selection and state approval process, alongside GOED and regional partners.

Free Founder Fridays are adding a new host this week: Kiln. 🚀

Every Friday, Free Founder Fridays offer founders across Northern Nevada free desk space to work, focus, and connect, rotating through some of the region's best co-working spots. This Friday, July 31, that host is Kiln, holding its first session since it opened in Reno this June.

Open to founders, entrepreneurs, remote workers and others looking to connect. No commitment, just room to get to work alongside others doing the same.
