Sheep Dip Show

Sheep Dip Show 54th annual Sheep Dip Show will take place January 12 and 13, 2018 at the Eldorado in Reno. Proceeds benefit two of our local charities.

(selection will be announced at a later date.) This annual fundraiser show is dedicated to exposing the follies and foibles of the Truckee Meadows in an evening of skits, songs and dance. Our performers are all area locals (your neighbors) along with members of the media and even a few of our famous (and infamous) politicians. Our efforts help raise funds that support charitable activities in the

Reno/Sparks and Greater Northern Nevada areas. And because Sheep Dip, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, check with your accountant or CPA to determine what portion of your donation/ticket purchase may be deductible. The name Sheep Dip is drawn from Nevada's early heritage of sheep herding in the Sierra Nevada. Sheep Dip is a cleansing element in which sheep are literally dipped. Today, we dip our newsmakers in the satirical vat of Sheep Dip to cleanse them of their past deeds so that they may go right back and be foolish again! In the 52 years of the show's history, over $447,000 has been donated to advertising education, community charitable organizations, and arts organizations.
