Marce Herz Foundation The Marce Herz Foundation 501 (c)(3) is the proud fundraising subsidiary dedicated to Sky Tavern.

The Marce Herz Foundation provides opportunities for every child to participate in snow sports at Sky Tavern—because we believe a day on the mountain leads to a life empowered. The foundation is the dedicated fundraising arm for Sky Tavern and plays an integral part in the present capital improvement campaign for expansion of the mountain and all season programs.

About the Foundation

The Marce Herz Foundation carries the namesake of champion alpine skier, world-record holder, and educator Marce Herz who believed all children—regardless of economic status—should have the opportunity to ski or snowboard. We carry on her vision today as we share snow sports with our community’s youth through efforts like our Snowriders Program and scholarships. Above all, we believe time on the mountain teaches you so much more than to ski or snowboard. From clear communication to conquering fears, a day on the hill can lead to a lifetime of empowerment. That’s why we work to ensure all children have access to thrill and joy of snow sports.
