FYI, the colonization has been delayed.

This email is drafted with the intent to inform you about expansions for Delta Chi.

Recently, Delta Chi announced our return to the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in fall 2019. Through strong relationship development and advanced community research, we have found that Delta Chi will be returning to the University of Nevada, Reno; however, our timeline has shifted.

Currently, the University is experiencing great fluctuation within their fraternity community. Additionally, the University is also working with the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) to settle instability in the community as an unaffilated Inter-Fraternity Council (meaning organizations have disaffiliated with UNR and have created their own, private council) has been established.

When Delta Chi recolonizes at the University of Nevada, Reno, we plan on joining the University affilated Inter-Fraternity Council. Cultivating a strong partnership with the University is paramout to our success and due to the tempramental nautre of the current community, Delta Chi is postponing our expansion to a later date, potentially in the 2020 or 2021 fall semesters.

This will allow the current community to redevelop its fraternity identity and relationship to the University. While we may not be expanding to the University Of Nevada, Reno in fall 2019, we will be connecting and engaging with local alumni in the upcoming academic year. This will only strengthen our future expansion efforts on campus and will allow us to cultivate alumni support in advance.

We feel its important to inform our alumni of this decision, as our incredible members have demonstrated a frequent interest in lending their support/assistance to expansion projects. If you have any questions at this time, please feel free to connect with me at [email protected].

The Wolfpack has made it to the Sweet 16 in Atlanta. A few of us are going that I know of. Anyone else heading out there? - Mike Allerdyce Share and then we can get everyone's cell phones and do some serious bonding (drinking) in Atlanta.

Hi all. With assistance from Todd Levy, Delta Chi has reached out to Joe Nannini and me about starting an alumni chapter in Reno. This is open to any Delta Chi that is living in or near Reno, not just graduates from Nevada. The cost is $150 for the chartering and then $100 each year after that. We were hoping to find 10 alumni in the Reno area to sign the chartering petition in the next month or so and throw down $15 bucks each. This is the first step in opening an undergrad chapter at Nevada again. We want to make an active alumni chapter, but the time commitment should be pretty light.
