Arts for All Nevada is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Reno, seeking to integrate the exploration of arts and culture into the lives of all, starting with our own community. We offer a variety of quality fine art classes to the public, implement art programs in the school systems, and steward the historic Lake Mansion responsibly as a community center for exploration of arts and culture. While our emphasis is on those who have a disability, are disadvantaged, at-risk, or underserved by the arts, we recognize that every individual in our community has a role to play in the arts. People of all ages, skill levels, backgrounds, and experience can find their place at Arts for All Nevada, as our classes and programs focus on a variety of different art movements and media including visual art, creative movement, drama, and literary expression. We envision a world unified by the arts, where communities engage, create, and grow together.

Calling all Weekly Wonders artists, we will have no class on Monday, October 12.

The art fun will continue on Wednesday in Gardnerville, Thursday in Sparks, and then we're back to our regular Monday classes on October 19. 😊

We have FREE Weekly Wonders in these locations:

1. Lake Mansion - Mondays, 3:00-4:30pm, inside the classroom
2. Gardnerville - Wednesdays, 3:00-4:30pm at the Douglas County Senior & Community Center (Expand-Able Horizons)
3. Sparks - Thursdays, 3:00-4:30pm at the Larry D. Johnson Community Center

Art supplies are provided, and Aides/Caregivers are welcome to attend the workshops, as needed.

We would like to thank the City of Reno Government Access Advisory Committee and the City of Sparks, Nevada Government Parks & Recreation Department for their generous assistance in making the Weekly Wonders program possible.

The Aspens are all turning yellow here in Reno but for our Art Adventurers, the fall colors are unlimited! 💛🧡

Guided by teaching artist Miss Patty Lassaline, our kid artists played with watercolor to paint over drawn tree branches and then finger-painted the leaves!

We do think most of the leaves already fell in some of their cute art 🍂😅 Swipe to see their paintings!

Speaking of Art Adventures, we're still accepting registrations for our October to December sessions in Brown Elementary and Caughlin Ranch Elementary!

It’s a fun art class designed for kids ages 7 to 10. All art supplies included.

Thank You, Donors!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the Lake Mansion roof has been replaced. We have more really exciting announcements to come so please keep posted.

The Lake Mansion is one of the oldest and most historically significant buildings in Reno. Built in 1877, it offers us a glimpse into Reno’s origins, being home to Reno founder, Myron Lake.

From all of us, thank you for helping protect Reno's special landmark.

Our most special thanks to Miss Patty Cafferata, E.L. Cord Foundation, Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation, and the Historic Reno Preservation Society for helping make the Lake Mansion roof project happen.

Your support ensures that the Lake Mansion will continue to be a welcoming place for our community to come together for arts, culture, and history for many, many years to come.

If you were a cat, what would you be thinking about? Yarn, lasagna, a nap in the sun?

One of our kids thinks... a bird! 😊🐤 And there's more, like a cat dreaming of a fish!

Guided by our teaching artist, Anne Hunter, our students learned about the art of Paul Klee and created their own "Cats" using pastel, inspired by Klee's 1928 painting, Cat and Bird.

During the 2025 to 2026 school year, our Artist in Residency Program brought professional teaching artists into Special Education and Title I classrooms at no cost to schools or students.

In total, the program served nearly 2,300 students in 42 schools, providing 1,076 hours of arts education.

During the school year 2025 to 2026, Arts for All Nevada also provided 377 hours of free arts education workshops to 1575 students in these TITLE 1 SCHOOLS: Agnes Risley, Kate Smith, Bernice Matthews, Robert Mitchell, and Donner Springs.

The free workshops are supported by Patricia Cafferata, the Thomas Pfrommer Family Foundation, ArtsHERE, and the Rich in Art License Plate Initiative.

We are extremely grateful to our funders, schools, teachers, teaching artists, parents, and community members who make it possible to bring the arts to students throughout our community.

The Artist in Residency Program is supported by the City of Reno Government Arts and Culture Commission, Nevada Arts Council National Endowment for the Arts, John Ben Snow Foundation, E.L. Get ready to give your young artist a week of Halloween art fun at our Spooktacular Art Camp! 😊

Spooktacular Art Camp
Monday to Friday, October 5 to 9, 9am to 3pm at the Lake Mansion
Designed for kids ages 6 to10 (We’re accepting only 15 students)

What your kid will get:
- A full week of engaging, screen-free fun (painting, mixed media, sculpting, and more!)
- Experienced teaching artist Cheryl Johnson leading every project
- All art supplies included!
- Morning popcorn and juice snack provided
- Lots of opportunities to make friends while creating cute art
- Supervised walks to Wingfield Park for a little fresh air

Costumes are encouraged on the last day for an extra dose of Halloween fun! 🧟

Please note: This is a full-day camp from 9am to 3pm. Students should bring a packed lunch each day.
