Washoe County K9 Partners Washoe County K9 Partners is a non-profit organization designed to help Washoe County K9s. Welcome to WCK9 Partners in Northern Nevada!

We’re a Reno/Sparks/ Tahoe-based all volunteer support organization for the K-9 division of law enforcement. Our focus is on the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department's dogs. Our nonprofit organization focuses on raising money to provide needed equipment, gear, and training above the standard equi

pment the agencies provide. For example, ballistic vests, goggles, gps collars, drones, training seminars when agencies can’t afford to send their teams, and much more!

We hope everyone who joined us for Barks and Badges had as much fun as we did!

The event gave our community an opportunity to meet our incredible K9s and handlers, along with many of our special teams and members of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office family.

Thank you to the volunteers who dedicated their time, the donors whose generosity supports our K9 units, and our hardworking K9s and handlers who make Barks and Badges such a special event.

We are also grateful to Washoe County K9 Partners and Lithia Reno Subaru, as well as the first responders, community organizations and vendors who joined us and helped make the day possible.

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support. We love our K9s as much as you do!

Barks & Badges is almost here!

Join us Sunday, August 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, 1595 North Sierra Street in Reno.

Meet our K9 teams, watch demonstrations and connect with WCSO units and community partners at this free, family-friendly event.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of participating in the Scheels Family Day! K9 Ripp, K9 Bodie from , and K9 Winter and K9 Bak from Reno Police Department K9 Unit were there to greet everyone with big smiles! It was great to see you all!!
