Community Day is officially postponed for all, per Niantic.

Niantic has canceled Abra Community Day for “Pokemon Go” and made other changes to make sure players are safe while playing the game.

Attention Pokemon Players! We will *not* be holding our monthly get together and raffle during community day this month at the Marina.

We will not discourage players from going out and playing (responsibly) but we will ourselves be responsible in not holding any large gatherings at this time in order to do our part to protect our most vulnerable populations.

Be aware this could carry over into the following months so unless situations change, our large group gatherings will all temporarily be suspended. For now, the smaller PVP tournament for March will still be occurring.

Stay healthy folks and remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds!

Thank you to everyone who came out to kick off the New Year, Pokemon style. This is the first time we have been back at the Marina since the beginning and we will be there again next month! Watch for the event!
(We did not officially have any discussions or conversations with Legends. We are just aware of some VERY poor behavior by players outside our community and that raids and play has been limited by Legends or their tenants via Niantic. Feel free to message the page if there are any further questions ❤)

We had a great time being social with our Pokemon community today! Thanks to all who came out PLUS we made a full buffet for the area homeless that we left behind with everything they needed. Thanks to all who left their side dishes to go along with the extra burgers and hot dogs we cooked for them before we left. This was a bonus!!

PS. There is video included in this post of the Pinata donated by member - Lady B Romero! He was HARD to take down.

Thank you to everyone for making this such a fun event! All of your admins loved seeing all the trainers and masters hunting together from all over Northern Nevada! This event would not have been as special as it was without all of you there to make it such a great event!

I love my Pokémon fanatic community here in Northern Nevada, and beyond. I'm also honored to be a part of it, making amazing and fun memories. I would have never guessed I'd grow up, loving Pokémon more so than I felt as a kid, with just as crazy friends as I. Tomorrow is going to be the best Community Day yet! Good luck tomorrow! For those that will be joining and hunting with us in Carson City, I can't wait to see you all! To those on their own Pokémon Journey, may the shinies be ever in your favor!
