My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 esophagus cancer that has spread. Since December he has been hospitalized a few times, but we just caught what was happening. His overall health and being on dialysis, he is not a candidate for treatment. Our family is heart broken and we are devastated with his diagnosis. We will be bringing him to our home to live the remainder of his life with his family. As we finish this Journey with him, we look for understanding why this has happened but also rejoice knowing he will be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us. My dad has always prayed, in good times and bad, he believed in the power of prayer. Before he prayed for himself, he always made sure to pray for all of us. He has been a pillar in our lives and I know his love and strength branched out to everyone he crossed paths with. He is sleeping a lot, but he isn't against visitors. He loves each and every one of us and I'm sure he would tell you so if he could. We will update when we can, as hard as this has been we want to make sure anyone who would like to reach out is able to do so. I will also add my Venmo thing for those who have reached out to lend a hand. He has been strong for so long, and I know he wants nothing but the best for all. Thank you for the love and prayers during this time. With Love....
