We are excited to share that our Master Councilor, Declan Wilson, and Advisory Board Chairman, Adam Wilson, recently sat down with Sarah Johns on KTVN’s 2 Plus You Nevada to talk about DeMolay and the impact it has on young men through leadership, public speaking, service, and lifelong friendships.

Valdo A Sei DeMolay proudly invites families, friends, and the Masonic community to attend our upcoming Degrees Day on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Washoe Lodge #35 in Reno, Nevada.

For young men, the DeMolay Degrees are more than ceremonies — they are the formal entrance into a brotherhood dedicated to leadership, service, character, and personal growth.

Young men between the ages of 12–21 are eligible to join DeMolay, and we encourage interested families to reach out before Degrees Day to learn more about the organization, ask questions, and meet our members and advisors.

This is an incredible opportunity to discover how DeMolay helps young men:
⚓ Build confidence
⚓ Develop leadership skills
⚓ Form lifelong friendships
⚓ Learn public speaking and teamwork
⚓ Grow through service and mentorship

Parents and grandparents of both incoming and current members are warmly invited to attend.

🌹 The Flower Talk is a public ceremony and open to all guests.

🤝 Members of the Masonic family — including Masons and Eastern Star — are especially welcomed and encouraged to attend and support these young men as they begin or continue their journey.

For a full century, Washoe Lodge No. 35 has stood as a pillar in our community—guiding young men, supporting families, and upholding the timeless values of integrity, charity, and personal growth. Their commitment to DeMolay has helped shape generations of leaders, and we are honored to call them our home.

These outstanding young women represent grace, leadership, and dedication—not only to our chapter, but to the values of friendship, service, and personal growth that DeMolay stands for.

Our Master Councilor and the entire chapter are incredibly excited to work alongside this remarkable group. The Sweetheart Court plays a vital role in supporting our members, strengthening our community, and helping create an environment where young people can grow, lead, and thrive together.

Valdo A Sei DeMolay Shines at PRIDE Competition

Valdo A Sei DeMolay is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone—our chapter’s first time competing in the PRIDE Ritual Competition.

PRIDE, a tradition established nearly 100 years ago by DeMolay founder Dad Frank S. Land, stands for “Perfect Ritual Improves DeMolay Every Way.” Through this program, young people develop powerful skills in public speaking, memorization, confidence, and teamwork—skills that continue to prepare them for success in school, careers, and life.

This year, our members stepped up in a big way. With only two chapters entering the Opening & Closing competition, Valdo A Sei rose to the challenge and proudly represented our community.

We are especially proud of our members who competed individually:

🏆 Declan – 1st Place, Magnificent 7
🏆 Austin – 1st Place, Ceremony of Light
🥉 Nick – 3rd Place, Ceremony of Light
📈 Ennio – Competed in Reverent 3 (the largest and most competitive category) and showed tremendous improvement from last year
👑 Jonora – 1st Place, Sweetheart Crowning Ceremony

While we celebrate these accomplishments, what stands out most is the growth, dedication, and character shown by every participant. The willingness to step forward, put in the work, and support one another is what makes this chapter special.

We are incredibly proud of our members and excited for what lies ahead.

Valdo A Sei Chapter is proud to announce the installation of Declan Wilson as our new Master Councilor.

With this change in leadership, we set sail into a new six-month term—one focused on leadership, brotherhood, service, and growth. Under Declan’s guidance, the chapter is embarking on a “grand adventure,” where each member is challenged to discover their potential, build lasting friendships, and contribute to something greater than themselves.

This term is more than meetings—it’s about finding your treasure and building your crew.
