Recipients will receive their $2,500 scholarship at the start of their freshman year of college. Good, hard-working, ambitious student/athletes who have excelled in a high school baseball or softball program are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are based upon the applicant's financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, level of accomplishment in a high school baseball or softball program and a strong desire to earn a college education.
