🏆 IN CASE YOU MISSED IT! 🏆

Earlier thismonth, we announced that Spread the Word Nevada was named BEST Place to Volunteer in the Best of Sierra 2026! 📚💖

This recognition is all about our amazing volunteers! From sorting books to supporting programs, they bring energy, heart, and plenty of teamwork to everything we do. Thanks to them, more Nevada children can access books, build literacy skills, and discover the joy of reading.

Want to join the fun? Visit STWN.org/volunteer to find an opportunity that’s right for you and help put more books into the hands of Nevada’s children!

P.S. We’re also excited to have received BRONZE for Best Nonprofit! 🥉 Thank you to everyone who voted!

A huge thank you to MEDLIFE Nevada! 📚 Together, their student volunteers spent just over two hours cleaning and prepping 387 books for local children! 🤩

MedLife Movement is a student-led organization working to empower communities through healthcare, education, and sustainable development. We’re so grateful they chose to support childhood literacy right here in Northern Nevada!

Did you know that Spread the Word Nevada distributes 5,000 books every month to local students in need? But, that would not be possible without our amazing volunteers! Thank you for helping us make sure children have the resources they need to become lifelong readers! 💖

We are so lucky to have the Washoe County School District Transition Academy volunteer with us twice a week! 📚💖

Through their work-based learning, they help us prep and clean books that will soon be in the hands of kids through our literacy programs. These young adults are always joyful, hardworking, and ready to help, and we’re so thankful for the time and dedication they bring to us each week. 🎉

And their instructors? Absolutely incredible educators doing amazing work!

We love having you here, Transition Academy! 🤩
