🚨 🚨 10/15 UPDATE! We've had some first-time donors step up to help us cover 100% the repair costs. Thank you to those who donated, shared our post, and sent us kind words. THANK YOU for supporting our community's at-risk and homeless youth. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF YOU. THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY IN ACTION LOOKS LIKE. 🚨 🚨

--------

Someone broke into our van! 🚐 We use this van daily to pick up supplies and donations. 😭

The repair will cost $230. If you’d like to help, you can make a one-time or recurring donation at eddyhouse.org/getinvolved/donate/ and mention “van window repair” in the comments.

No donation is too small. Every little bit helps!

Not able to donate? That’s ok! Please consider sharing this post to help us spread the word.

As always, we’re so grateful for your help and love being a part of this wonderful community. Thank you for continuing to step up to support at-risk and homeless youth.

Our shelves could use a little love this week! We're reaching out to our community for help restocking a few essentials for the at-risk and homeless youth we serve at Eddy House.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞'𝗦 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦:

🩳 Men's underwear, sizes M & XL (our highest priority!)

👙 Bras, sizes M & L

🧴 Travel-size body wash

All three items are available on our Amazon Wish List ➡️ amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1ZGSWJ8JRWLGQ

𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗: 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦

We're also collecting 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 kitchen appliances for youth who have moved out of our shelter and are now living on their own.

Moving out of the shelter is a HUGE milestone, but starting out on your own often means starting from scratch. Everyday essentials like air fryers, microwaves, Crock-Pots, toasters, and coffee makers can help these young adults prepare meals, save money, and make their new spaces feel like home.

If you have an appliance you no longer need that's clean and in good working condition, we'd love to put it to good use!

📍 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣-𝗢𝗙𝗙: Please email [email protected] to schedule a donation drop-off or fill out our donation form: eddyhouse.org/getinvolved/donate/ -faqs

‼️ Underwear, bras, and socks must be 𝗡𝗘𝗪, unused, and in their original packaging. We cannot accept these items secondhand, even if they have been washed. Gently used kitchen appliances are welcome, provided they are clean and in good working condition.

Every donation helps us provide young people with the essentials they need today and the tools to build a more stable future.

Thank you for always showing up for our youth! 🙏 💜 🙏
