I Got You Reno

I Got You Reno We are here to support and lift up families. Everything is absolutely free, and I deliver those items for free. You can PM me or comment on this post.

I Got You is an organization that provides clothes, infant and young children’s “gear”, toys, household goods and furniture to folks that need them. I have found that lack of transportation is a huge obstacle in folks getting their needs met; they may not have the right size transportation to pick up what they need or they may not have transportation at all. Think about everything you touch and us

e in your home every single day; those are the things other folks are in need of. Big to small…shower curtains rings to cheese graters to cookie sheets to towels, bedding and furniture. I accept donations of all items as long as they are clean and in good condition: no holes, tears, stains, nothing broken, all pieces included, etc. If you need help or know of anyone who needs something, please feel free to reach out to me for for more information. We Are Proud to Announce That I Got You Reno Has Joined Furnish Together!

We are honored to share that I Got You Reno, Nevada's first and only Furniture Bank, is now a member of Furnish Together, a national coalition of furniture banks working to address a hidden crisis impacting millions of Americans: furniture poverty.

📣 This issue is finally receiving national attention.

Recently, Forbes Magazine spotlighted furniture poverty and the work of Furnish Together, bringing awareness to a crisis that affects an estimated one in three Americans. The article highlights a reality that furniture banks across the country witness every day: families secure housing but lack the essential furnishings needed to make that housing functional, stable, and truly livable.

"The Furniture Gap: Solving a Hidden Crisis for American Families" shines a national spotlight on a challenge that has remained largely invisible despite affecting millions of people.

While affordable housing and homelessness often receive much-needed attention, there is another challenge that is rarely discussed. Every day, families and individuals secure housing only to find themselves moving into completely empty spaces. No bed to sleep on. No table to eat at. No dresser to store clothing. No cookware to prepare meals.

A home is more than four walls and a roof. It is a place of safety, stability, dignity, and belonging. Without the basic furnishings needed to make a house functional, many families struggle to truly settle into and thrive in their new homes.

Furnish Together is bringing furniture banks across the country together to raise awareness of this issue, advocate for solutions, and create a stronger network for redistributing donated furniture and household goods to those who need them most.

As Nevada's first and only Furniture Bank, we are proud to stand alongside organizations nationwide that believe no one should have to sleep on the floor, eat meals sitting on the ground, or live in an empty apartment simply because they cannot afford the basic furnishings most of us take for granted.

At I Got You Reno, we see the impact of furniture poverty every day. We also see the incredible difference a furnished home can make. A fully furnished home can often be provided for less than the cost of a single new mattress, yet the stability, comfort, and dignity it creates can be life-changing.

Thank you to our donors, volunteers, referring partner agencies, and supporters. Your generosity allows us to continue turning empty spaces into homes and giving families a foundation on which they can rebuild their lives.

❤️ Together, we can ensure that housing is not just a place to live, but a place to call home.

We're so proud to once again host a Feeding Pets of the Homeless Wellness Clinic, generously sponsored by the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation.

This is truly one of our favorite events of the year! A massive thank you to the incredible team at Galena Veterinary Hospital —their veterinarians and techs are volunteering their time to provide free exams and vaccinations to pets in need.

Our events ensure that every member of the family (even the furry ones!) gets the care they deserve.

💔 She is 13 years old. Help find a missing child.

Ivy Castello went missing from Reno, Nevada on March 21, 2026. She is one of the youngest faces on the Nevada missing persons list right now and her case has had almost no public exposure in the five days since she disappeared.

Reno is not a small place. Nearly 270,000 people live in this city in Washoe County, tucked between the Sierra Nevada and the Nevada desert. It is a city that knows how to move people through it quietly. And right now it is holding at least three missing teenagers at the same time. Virginia Parker, 17, has been missing since January. Madison Bearden, 17, since October 2025. And now Ivy, the youngest of them all, missing since last Friday.

The Reno Police Department is handling her case. If you live in Reno, in Sparks, anywhere in the Truckee Meadows or the surrounding area, this face needs to be in your memory. If you see her, do not hesitate. Make the call.
