Would you consider helping us keep our secondary kids in school?

A New Song International officially began a Secondary Tuition Scholarship program last year, which allowed 40 high school-aged kids to continue their education in secondary and vocation schools in 2024.

It is our hope that by the time a Happy Times child has reached adulthood, they have been given the opportunity to succeed—to rise out of poverty, rise above their humble beginnings, and be productive members of Ugandan society—and that begins with education.

Ugandan schools follow the calendar year, and so it is time again to raise funds to keep these kids in school! The totally cost for each child is $388 per year. Would you consider partnering with us to allow these kids to continue their education?

Inflation is felt around the world, and our ability to send enough money each month to adequately feed the children we serve is diminishing with rising costs and a significant increase in the number of children in need of care.

Jessica Nakitende 21yrs joined HT in 2011 with six siblings after the demise of their mother. The seven girls had dropped out of school because their father was very abusive and a drunkard and their extended family was unsupportive. The three older girls chose to drop out of school to take care of the young ones. At the time HT found them they were very helpless with no food and no education. We took them into our care. Today Jessica is a teacher at HT and will be graduating on the 28th May this Saturday in Nursery teaching. Thanks to A New Song International for supporting these girls back to school. Joy is doing a degree in Law and Jane is completing her diploma in Hairdressing. Thanks Jesus for this wonderful journey, Father of the fatherless.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.....we here at HT are here today to appreciate in a very special way Laurie, Christy, Annie Branson, Melissa Peterson, Sarah Grant, Heidi, Kathy Stone and the so many ladies who support ANSI. The Heavens smile everyday because of your sacrifice and support to these orphans and because of you they are not orphans any more. Thanks for being the hands and feet of Jesus.
