CCC recognizes the challenge for cancer survivors and their loved ones in returning to everyday life while adjusting to the physical and emotional effects of treatment. Serving our members throughout Northern & Rural Nevada, CCC offers programs focused on key aspects of survivorship: social and emotional support, healthy living, and education. As our membership and community reach grows, we will o

ffer a robust calendar of activities including networking groups, yoga, pilates, HIIT training, gentle exercise classes, meditation groups, writing & mindfulness workshops, cooking classes, arts and crafts projects, book clubs, and other activities intended to create personal connections and empower the lives of our members to reclaim joy & purpose at any stage of their cancer journey. National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life held in hundreds of communities nationwide and around the world in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. It is a day for everyone, whether you are a cancer survivor, a family member, a friend, or a medical professional. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship in order to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors' quality of life.

The mental and emotional impact of cancer can be overwhelming. You're not alone. CCC offers free programs to help you thrive - because healing is more than physical. We provide individual, family, and group counseling, peer support groups, and a Spanish-language support group, all at no cost. Join CancerFit Today! CancerFit is an ongoing and accessible cancer exercise program led by ​Cancer Exercise Specialists for survivors at any stage of their cancer journey - ​newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, and long-term survivors. Ask about the Moms on the Run and Think Pink scholarships available!

Benefits of exercise during and after cancer treatment:
- Build strength and increase muscle mass
- Reduce fatigue and improve energy levels
- Improve balance and flexibility
- Enhance cognitive function
- Reduce depression and anxiety
- Promote overall well-being
- Reduce disease recurrence

A $75 monthly membership fee provides access to two small group fitness trainings each week with a Cancer Exercise Specialist trainer, along with a pre-assessment and 6-month fitness assessment. Participants are asked to commit to the program for six months and are welcome to continue in the program for as long as capacity allows.

Cancer treatment can take an enormous financial toll on individuals and families, yet safe physical exercise is a key element to recovery. Please ask about the scholarships available to reduce the monthly cost of participation.
