I realize I'm a bit late announcing this on FB and I apologize. But this year's light contest is over and the total # of lights was 122,762! The most ever! And congratulations goes to Daniel Garess with a guess of 121,462!

Thank you all very much for coming to see this years lightshow! Tonight is the last chance to get to see the 2025 edition so come on out! The full show is in rotation with every song I've prepared for this year along with a few other songs that didn't get to make the cut due to us not having a Halloween show this year.

Again, From the bottom of our hearts thank ya'll so much and we here at LFD wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!

Fun Fact! This is a picture of only some of the lights that were used in our very first year 2011! We no longer use any of these lights or controllers as the show has morphed into something completely different now!

Remember, after having that awesomely prepared meal with family and friends come out tomorrow night to top off a great day with an awesome lightshow! We start at 5:30!!

Ok....I hope everyone has had a great summer! I come to you all with bad news followed by some good news! After much thought and many many more situations that have come up between this year and part of last year I'm sad to announce that Lights For Darlene will not be having a Halloween show this year. And after seriously considering a break from Christmas as well, I've decided to move full steam ahead and let you all know LFD Christmas 2025 is back on the schedule! It's going to look a little different this year as I haven't had a chance to make all the necessary repairs after last years freeze, but i think sometimes different is just what we need! Rest assured it will still get my 💯 effort to be amazing as always!

I always get asked when I start the setup. Well, to answer that question, I'm starting a little late this year. But, it starts today!!! I can't wait to see you all this December!!!

P.s. the yard looks a little bit empty doesn't it? Lol
