Casa de Vida Reno

Casa de Vida Reno Casa de Vida is a private nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide care for pregnant young women in need of help in Northern Nevada.

Casa de Vida is a private, nonprofit corporation providing home and support services for pregnant young women ages 16-24. While some young women facing a crisis pregnancy have the support of a loving family, many others are less fortunate. We offer:

A safe and stable home for pregnant young women with 24/7 staff on hand. A midwife that is accessible when needed. A semi-independent, transitional l

iving home for parenting young women and their infant children. Case management services. Parenting, budgeting, nutrition, and child development classes with an on-hand midwife available. Assistance in completing educational goals and finding jobs, childcare, and permanent housing. An emphasis on the value and dignity of each client. Wanda’s Baby Closet, a closet located in the basement of the main house that provides free baby clothing up to 6t sizes, baby formula and food, baby necessities, and maternity clothing to those in need in the Northern Nevada community. Mothers can stay in our program up to 15 months after the birth of their baby.
