BSA Troop 360 killed it again this weekend!!!! As usual, the kids and leaders showed up with great energy and attitudes (even in the rain.) Thank you BSA Troop 360 for helping to make it another GREAT RRHRC weekend!

Learning to backup...This 6 year old Youth RRHRC member was there from 9am to 7pm on Friday and from before 6am to after 5pm both Saturday and Sunday. Never heard him whine. Never heard him complain.

Thank you everyone that came out and worked and ran our Preliminary Spring Hunt Test! We had a great weekend and we hope that you all did also.

We are now looking at holding a Fall Hunt Test the weekend of November 11th & 12th (Veterans Day Weekend.) The plan would be to run a 60 dog Finished, 30 dog Seasoned and 50 dog Started.

The only issue is that the majority of the heavy lifting for the Spring event was done by a group of members from sister club RRRC. RRRC is holding an October AKC event and we are concerned that holding 2 events within 3 weeks of each other would over tax those RRRC members that already give so much to the sport.

If you want to continue to see HRC events in Northern VA, please join RRHRC and become an active (volunteering) member. We can't put on events without volunteers and we would love to have you join our team of hard working club members.

RRHRCs first (Preliminary) Hunt Test is in the books. The thing that we love the most about HRC is the kids and the family environment. From the Scouts working in the field, to the Junior handlers running their dogs, to those just hanging out while mom/dad run their dogs. The kids put it all in perspective!!!!
