Greasy Creek Vol. Fire Hall

Directions

Greasy Creek Vol. Fire Hall Volunteers helping our community in their time of need. The Greasy Creek fire hall depends on donations to pay utilities and to maintain the fire hall.

Polk County does not pay these expenses. It is the goal of the support group to have fundraiser events to provide funds for those expenses. Also we would like to encourage the community to participate in the monthly meetings which is the 2nd Monday each month at 7:30pm

The Greasy Creek Community came together in full force for a very special member in our community who needed assistance. Thank you Pastor of Archville, Josh Frank, for the prayers over this member of the community.

On July 27, 2026, Greasy Creek Fire Hall received a very generous donation from our State Senator Tom Hatcher and State Representative Dan Howell. With this money, it will go towards our goal of a side by side for our community of Greasy Creek and surrounding areas. We are very appreciative of all the support they are giving us.

We've recently had a few calls where we needed a side x side to assist EMS in reaching the patient.
Some were at their home that was unreachable by medic unit, some were injured on a hiking trail.
So we are currently trying to raise funds to purchase one for our Station.
If you would like to make a donation for this you can mail a check to:

A happy update about the Fire Hall.
We finally have a new metal roof. When those hurricane winds came thru last year it took some shingles off. So we are finally getting that repaired.
Thanks for those that helped with that.
