Rockingham County Beekeepers Association We are a friendly, thriving association of over 100 beekeepers living in Rockingham County, North Car Helping others in our hobby.

Our interests are:

Learning about bees and beekeeping. Producing good quality honey and beeswax. We invite you to explore our website and get to know us! Better yet, attend one of our monthly meetings - usually the first Thursday in each month, with the exceptions of April (when we schedule a field day) and December (when we take the month off).

If you are looking for some great pollinator plants, check out borage. Not only is this plant gorgeous, but borage is famous for its ability to replenish its nectar every 2 to 5 minutes after a bee visits. Easy to plant and reseeds itself.

We had a great Field Day! Thank you to the Bee Shack for hosting our annual event. A big shout out to John & Deeanna Biggs for the delicious BBQ. Thank you to everyone that attended and brought all the sides. It was an informative day with lots of bee talk, hive inspections and socializing!
