“Christmas Light Show” was such a gift ❤️🎄

Watching our kids share the story of Jesus with courage, joy, and sincerity reminded us all that Christmas is truly about simple faith and big hearts. So proud of each child who sang, spoke, smiled, and stepped out in bravery today.

This week at Team Kid, we dove into Genesis 2-3 to learn how sin entered the world. Adam and Eve disobeyed God so they were separated from God. Ever since then, all people have been sinners. Sin separates us from God, but God promised to send a rescuer to bring people back to God. I’m so thankful for God’s grace, forgiveness, and love. Thank you, God, for making a way to restore our relationship with you by sending your son, Jesus 🩵

⭐️Scripture: Genesis 2-3

⭐️Memory Verse: “Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23

Families, don’t forget that your child can earn points by bringing their Bible, memorizing the verse, bringing a friend, and completing their activity pages. Mrs. Sandy keeps record of these points so a grand total can be provided and spent at the Team Kid store.

Hello Covington KID families 👋🏻

Summer in the Son activities finished with a splash last week at the pool 💦. Our Team KID season will kick off Sunday, September 7th for PreK-6th grade. Please be on the lookout for registration and more information on our theme and focus.

The school season is here and that is quite the transition for the family 📚✏️. I’m sure bookbags are packed with supplies, first day outfits picked out, and snacks/lunches are ready to go. You’re prepared! Don’t forget to intentionally set aside time to prepare hearts and minds 🩵.

This morning a family devotion, activities, and pocket cross were shared with your child to help the family in that preparation ✝️. If you did not get one this morning, I have more! You can get one next Sunday or if you would like one before then, let me know!! I told the kiddos that if they complete it (send a picture or show me) they can visit the prize box and be entered in a drawing for a snackimal squishmallow stuffy (they were very motivated by that 😉).

*Side note: My family will spread these activities out over the upcoming two weeks before Team KID begins. It isn’t meant to be completed in one sitting!*
