This week you will see Tattnall County Fire, Reidsville Fire Department, Collins volunteer fire department/station 3, Cobbtown Fire Department, Rogers State Prison Fire, and Smith State Prison Fire conducting their annual Fire truck pump test. This takes a good week to pump test moving Fire trucks from their stations to the pump sites. So when you see alot of Fire trucks being moved around all over the county you will understand why. Hard work as usual and we thank The Department of Corrections for their hard work getting everything sit up.

This is so true, some just want to have a radio and Tshirts to look cool. When you volunteer it's 24-hour a day 7 days a week you never know when the call is coming. You may be just be the one to save someone love ones or there lifelong property

On 10/10/26 at approximately 10:08 PM Tattnall County Fire, Reidsville Fire Department, Rogers State Prison Fire and Tattnall County EMS responded to a structure fire on Bronco Drive off of Rod Strickland Rd. First units to arrive on scene found a shelter on fire fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire and hot spots for almost 2 hrs. A water shuttle was used to supply water due to no hydrants in the area. Ga. Power was contacted to deal with live power lines and had not shown up while fire units were on scene approximately 2 hrs. We would like to thank our volunteers for showing up and working around dangerous situations. No injuries to report..

This are some pictures from the City of Reidsville Fire Department Drone, yes we are still learning and practicing with the drone. The drone is a great tool for the fire department, it has been used at several brush fires, lost person reports and will be a great access in large structure fires. It will be used by the city, county, and surrounding city and counties if needed. Please do not make any negative comments about the pictures of the old Tattnall Bank being torn down. It was used for safety and security reason for the demolition.

Yes, automatic aid is coming at first, first on scene command calls for mutual aid, and it's good to have all the help you need coming you can always turn them around if not needed.
