We’re excited to welcome Tariana Williams to the NC 100 team this summer as our newest intern via the The Nonprofit Internship Program, that for over a decade, has created paid summer internship opportunities for college students across North Carolina — helping ensure that talented young people can gain meaningful professional experience without the barrier of unpaid work.

Tariana will be supporting organizational management projects, operational efficiencies, and social enterprise initiatives.

Her work will help strengthen systems, support collaboration, and contribute to projects focused on long-term community impact.

Tariana is a rising junior Honors Scholar at High Point University studying English and Political Science. Her passion for storytelling, research, and community connection has already led her to contribute to campus and youth-led publications focused on human interest stories, literary culture, and issues impacting communities.

She brings a strong interest in translating complex ideas into clear, engaging stories and hopes to pursue a future in political journalism or the legal field where she can continue creating positive impact.

We thank our amazing partners with Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust for supporting this opportunity, alongside the folks with the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers.

Please join us in welcoming Tariana to Rockingham County and NC 100!!

Tonight didn’t end the way the city hoped, but what an incredible season and effort from the Reidsville RAMS Basketball!

This team represented our community with heart, toughness, and excellence every time they stepped on the floor. The energy, the passion, and the memories created this season will not be forgotten.

A special salute to senior Dionte Neal, whose career will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the finest in North Carolina basketball history, with an overall record of 109-3.

His leadership, talent, and humility have inspired both the young and old alike as a personification of class, dedication, and athletic excellence both on and off the court.

Best of luck on the next chapter of what is sure to be an amazing journey. Your impact will be felt for years to come.
