A major new piece of public art is coming to Mayodan thanks to support from ! The Rockingham County Arts Council is teaming up with the Town of Mayodan, Madison Mayodan Recreation Department, and Visit Rockingham County to transform the pedestrian tunnel leading to the upcoming Washington Mills Park into a landmark mural. This is a chance to create something bold, memorable, and rooted in place. A piece of art that becomes part of how people experience the park, and part of how Mayodan tells its story. Muralists, we want to hear from you. The Request for Qualifications is now available at www.rcarts.org.
