In 1 Week!!! Join us for the Chili Cook off to support the Rockingham County Chapter of the Firefighters' Burned Children's Fund!

Chili Cook Off Rules for the day of:
-Gates will open around 7:30AM for you to be able to come in and set up

-All chili has to be cooked on site. Nothing that is going to be judged can be brought in

-Chili can be started as soon as you are on site and set up.

-Turn in time will be 12:30 All chili has to be turned in to the judges table by 12:30 in cups that will be provided during check-in and registration.

-No chili that is going to turned in to be judged can be sampled by the public until after turn-in

-If someone wants to bring in chili cooked at home prior to the cook off this can only be used sampling while other chili is being prepared for turn in.

Good Morning! We are just over a week out from our Chili Cook Off- Firefighter Burned Children's Fund of Rockingham County! We have had a few questions come in, so we want to take a minute to address them!

1. Will there be water available for cooking and cleaning?
Yes, the town park has water available

2. Tables available for prep work?
Make sure to bring any and all supplies you need including tables for your chili!

3. Do we need to bring bowls/spoons?
You do not have to bring your own bowls and spoons! We will provide tasting kits for those visiting the chili cook off to come around and sample! If you would like to sell your chili AFTER the chili turn in time, you will need to bring your own containers and bowls to do so.

4. Where are we to setup and park?
When you check in a registration you will be given a spot to set up and park! All regular parking will be at Town Hall, located off of Peach Tree Rd.

5. Trash bags provided?
We will be providing trash bags for each chili cook off participants to use. There will also be various trash cans around the park for regular trash. We will also have specified cans for our aluminum/drink can collections.

6. How/When do we pay? (also for Vendors)
During registration we will collect the vendor fees and the Chili Cook off Participant Fees at the gate! We will be able to accept Cash or Check!

Chili Turn in Time: 12PM

Admission is free, but, there is a $25.00 cooks entry fee!
We will also have: Food Trucks, Vendors, Firetrucks, Bake Sale & more!
