We continue to search for a new equine partner for our program.
We are looking for a horse, preferably a gelding, aged 20 or less. We would prefer a stocky horse ranging from 14-15.2 hands tall. The horse needs to be sound, sane, and friendly.
The horse will be used primarily in therapy sessions being led or long lined. The horse will enjoy an in-and-out style living arrangement, herd time daily, grazing 8-9 months of the year, and over 40 dedicated staff and volunteers to love and care for them.
Due to the high overhead of equine therapy and our commitment to keeping this therapy as low cost as possible, out budget is not a huge one.
