The 2027 Surfgimp Foundation grant window is OPEN! Grants support individuals with disabilities pursuing adaptive recreational and competitive activities - whether that means trying something new, getting the right equipment, taking lessons, traveling to compete, or chasing a personal goal. Applications are open through December 1, 2026. Apply and share with someone who could benefit!

* Medical equipment, healthcare services, therapies, and other primarily medical or therapeutic expenses are not eligible for grant funding, as Surfgimp Foundation’s mission is focused on supporting adaptive recreation and competition.

Last week in Oceanside, California, we had the incredible honor of cheering on some of the amazing athletes Surfgimp Foundation has sponsored throughout the Adaptive Surfing World Tour this year. We’ve watched their journeys from afar, but standing on the beach and watching them paddle out, push through every challenge, chase waves, and give it everything they had was incredibly emotional! You could see the years of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and determination behind every wave. Watching them do what they love, compete at such a high level, and experience that pure joy on the water was something we’ll carry with us long after the waves are gone.

A huge thank you to Big Chill Beach Club and everyone who came out for our Dine to Donate night! Thanks to your incredible support, $2,000 was rasied for for Surfgimp Foundation! These funds will help us continue making dreams come true by providing adaptive equipment, experiences, and opportunities for people with disabilities. We are so grateful for this amazing community and the continued support of our mission! 💙

Bill never misses an opportunity to compete—whether it’s basketball, football, rugby, or just about any sport he can get involved in. He is a leader, mentor, and fierce competitor who brings passion, determination, and 110% effort to every game and every challenge. Now he’ll be rolling into his next adventure with a brand-new adaptive sports wheelchair made possible through a Surfgimp Foundation grant. Congratulations, Bill! We can’t wait to see all the places this chair takes you next!
