At the heart of our upcoming concert, “Making Spirits Bright,” is Kirke Mechem’s beautiful choral suite, Seven Joys of Christmas

This isn't just a collection of carols—it’s a musical trip around the world that captures the universal feelings of the season. Swipe through to see the 7 seasonal vignettes we'll be bringing to life at Epworth UMC on December 5th:
❤️ The Joy of Love: An English traditional carol reflecting on deep connection and goodwill.
🔔 The Joy of Bells: High-energy French melodies mimicking church bells ringing across the snow.
🏡 The Joy of Mary: A tender, quiet lullaby celebrating the simple warmth of home and family.
🥁 The Joy of Children: A playful Burgundian tune that captures the pure magic of childhood wonder.
🥂 The Joy of the New Year: Looking forward to fresh beginnings and a bright future.💃 The Joy of Dance: A rhythmic, guitar-strumming Catalan carol that will make you want to move.
🎶 The Joy of Song: A grand finale combining multiple melodies at once to bless our community with hospitality and harmony!

On this very dreary fall day, we are reminiscing about last Saturday's Sips in September party! This party was full of a little sunshine, a little swimming, a few “pain killers,” and A LOT of laughter!

Last Saturday, our Chorale members gathered for one of our favorite traditions: Sips in September! Hosted by Chorale member Denise Adkins, the evening was filled with delicious bites, refreshing drinks, a dip in the pool, and plenty of time to connect outside the rehearsal hall. Thank you, Denise, for hosting us!

Because while we love making music together, the friendships and community we build along the way are just as special.

Cheers to another wonderful season together! 🥂
