We will be having a clinic tonight at 6:00 for any 8U BASEBALL players who can attend to kick off this season!!

All coaches aside from tee ball have their lists and should be reaching out about practices soon if they have not already! We will get tee ball squared away this week!

We will be hosting our annual umpire clinic on Saturday April 18th at our fields. Breakfast will begin at 9:00am and Bill Stiles will lead our clinic immediately following. Please share this is open to all interested participants across the county and coaches are strongly encouraged to attend.

🚨🚨🚨 Attention!! We will need to hold a player evaluation this Sunday (March 29) at 3:00 at the fields for any player signed up to play 12u or 10u softball so we can finalize rosters. This should only take about an hour. Please try your best to attend if you are able!! 🚨🚨🚨

Congratulations to our West Preston Panthers for their win on their home opener!

We know the rest of you are ready to get going as well. We will be contacting coaches and working on rosters over the next couple of days with the intention of contacting parents and beginning some practices next week!! As in the past we will get the coach pitch and up groups squared away first and then tee ball will follow.

Don’t forget: Regular priced signups end this Friday!!

A couple notes to pass along: the county is allowing 15 year olds to play in the 14u division in order to fill teams. If you have a child who will be 15 on May 1 they will eligible to sign up!

Also, any middle school baseball or softball player that is wanting to play with us after their season ends may do so, but we will need you to sign up so we can get uniforms ordered and teams registered with Pony.

Alright guys, here we go!! Sign ups are now open!!

We will be keeping prices the same as last year: $45 first player, $40 second, $35 third, etc. There is once again a one time per family field maintenance fee of $35.

We are also keeping the $20 per family concession stand buyout fee this year. This worked well last season and we received great feedback from parents about not having to cover.

Regular priced signups will end on March 20th. Anyone signing up before midnight on February 28th will get a $10 early bird discount, and anyone signing up during the last week beginning on March 21st will pay a $20 late fee. The absolute last day to sign up will be March 28th. Early signups allow us more flexibility with ordering uniforms and making sure we are covered with coaches—please take advantage and sign up early to get your discount!

Tonight we are mourning the loss of a woman who was not only one of our mothers, grandmothers, and board members—she was the heart of our league.

Shirley Rogers has been a volunteer with us and several other sports leagues in our community for decades now and has been a constant presence in an ever changing world. No matter the ask, Shirley always embraced it and did anything she could to help out. She worked in the concession stand, assisted with signups, organized team pictures and pick ups, made Sam’s trips for us, helped cut the grass, served as our Secretary, and too many countless items to list.

Her life was dedicated to her family who she loved fiercely, and if she was not with one of her own kids, she was at the field cheering on all of your kids—her heart knew no boundaries. She had the voice you would recognize from anywhere and a smile that could light up a room, Shirley was pure joy.

While we are saddened by her loss, we are grateful to God that Shirley is now where she was always meant to be and free of pain. Our hearts go out to the Rogers family and all who love Shirley.
