About the Illustrator:
Ron Covert is a self taught illustrator/painter with a background in design. He and his wife have a resume of 10 restaurants and currently own BIG FISH CAFE in Reedsport. You can see more of Ron’s paintings in the gallery at the BIG FISH CAFE.
When the author asked Ron if he would illustrate her books, he asked what she was looking for. He asked her to send him some pages of her book so he could create a composition of art he thought would appeal to her audience. This panel offered for auction is the ORIGINAL art of concept for the book series “NIGHT HUNT” by CoCo McQ. This book is the first in a series of dozens of “NIGHT HUNT” books by CoCo McQ. Next one up is “NIGHT HUNT LIMPOPO”. Then “NIGHT HUNT BERMUDA TRIANGLE”, with more to come!
About the Author:
Coco has lived and worked around the world as a military daughter, wife, and mom, but now calls the wild Oregon coast home. She loves a salty breeze, a gorgeous sunset over the ocean, and a good story taking shape.
A country girl at heart, Coco loves critters of all kinds, beautiful surroundings, hard work, and a touch of adventure. Her writing draws from a life spent in many places—rural and urban, domestic and diplomatic—and from a deep appreciation for everyday moments, unsung heroes, faith, and the stories that connect us. Raised in a family of storytellers led by her father, who could hold a room with nothing more than a tall tale and a twinkle in his eye, Coco learned early the power of a good story—and she’s been telling her own ever since.
