Design Reedsburg is a local initiative, in cooperation with UW Extension, to bring a volunteer team of design professionals to our community from May 4th - 7th, 2017 to gather information, assess existing conditions, and create a vision for Reedsburg moving forward. This team, comprised of architects, planners, landscape architects, economic development professionals, and others, will work with us
intensely over these three days to create a variety of initiatives for implementation. The planning committees are currently in the process of preparing all logistics to make this working weekend a success, and welcome all forms of contributions to help make that happen. The schedule of public events for this weekend will include two major events:
1) A community pot-luck on FRIDAY, MAY 5TH at 6:00pm at WEBB MIDDLE SCHOOL, where the design team will facilitate a community input session. And,
2) A public presentation on SATURDAY, MAY 6TH by the Design Team at 6:00pm at WEBB MIDDLE SCHOOL to present the results of their efforts, including all recommendations, drawings, and other deliverable materials that they create during their time in Reedsburg. The public is encouraged to attend this event to see the results of the input they've provided and what is developed over the course of the weekend.
