Chances of the Ozarks Helping the developmentally disabled of Stone County to succeed!

In the summer of 2009, families and friends of Stone County citizens with developmental disabilities began meeting because they all shared a common goal; to enhance the lives of Stone County citizens with developmental disabilities. Who says learning can’t be messy and fun? 😄

This week at Chances of the Ozarks, our members put their engineering skills to the test with spaghetti and marshmallow towers and got creative making colorful slime! From problem-solving and teamwork to plenty of laughter, it was a day full of hands-on learning and new experiences.

Seeing the smiles, creativity, and confidence shine through is what makes moments like these so special. We love watching our participants try new things, encourage one another, and celebrate their accomplishments along the way. 💜

Business Fair Success! 🎉

Chances of the Ozarks had an incredible time at the Business Fair! We were thrilled to connect with so many community members, businesses, and families while sharing our mission and the services we provide.

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to speak with many teachers/ parents and make new connections, and spread awareness about the importance of inclusion and support for individuals of all abilities. The encouragement, interest, and support we received from the community was truly inspiring today!

Science + S’mores = A Great Time! ☀️🍫🔥

Today at Chances of the Ozarks, our members put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work by building their own solar ovens! Using simple materials and the power of the sun, we learned about solar energy while making a tasty treat.

There were lots of smiles, teamwork, and excitement as everyone watched their marshmallows and chocolate begin to melt. Activities like these make learning fun while encouraging independence, social interaction, and hands-on exploration.

We love creating opportunities where everyone can learn, grow, and belong. 💙

🌴☀️ Cannonballs, crazy smiles, tropical vibes, and memories that will last all year! 💦😎🌺

Our annual pool party was a splash-tastic success! From floating and swimming to laughing with friends and making new connections, the evening was packed with fun from start to finish.

Seeing our members surrounded by people who cheer them on, celebrate them, and make them feel included is what Chances of the Ozarks is all about. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the Replex, our volunteers, families, and community supporters for helping create such an unforgettable night. We are already counting down the days until next year’s pool party!

School Readiness Fair 2026 📚✏️

Today, Chances of the Ozarks was proud to participate in the School Readiness Fair! We loved connecting with families, sharing resources, and helping students get excited and prepared for a successful school year.

A huge thank you to all of the organizations, volunteers, and community partners who came together to support local children and families. When a community works together, amazing things happen!

We were honored to spend the day helping our friends at Unite Table Rock prepare for their upcoming School Readiness Fair! 📚✏️🎒

The members and staff of Chances of the Ozarks worked together to assemble bags that will help local students start the school year with confidence. It was a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside others and give back to our community.

We believe every child deserves a strong start, and we’re grateful to partner with organizations that share that vision. Thank you to Unite Table Rock for allowing us to be a small part of making a big difference for local families!

🪩✨ Disco, Bingo & Homemade Lava Lamps! ✨🪩

What a groovy day at Chances of the Ozarks! 💙

Our members had an amazing time stepping back into the disco era with music, dancing, and plenty of fun during Bingo! 🎶🎱 The excitement continued as everyone got creative making their very own homemade lava lamps, watching colorful swirls and bubbles come to life. 🌈🫧

Moments like these remind us that learning, creativity, friendship, and fun go hand in hand. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day made it one to remember!
