Chances of the Ozarks Empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive, build independence, and live life to the fullest!

In the summer of 2009, families and friends of Stone County citizens with developmental disabilities began meeting because they all shared a common goal; to enhance the lives of Stone County citizens with developmental disabilities. In October of 2009 they proudly announced the birth of a new organization, CHANCES of Stone County.

💗☕🕊️ Forever in Our Hearts, Tiffany 🕊️☕💗

Tiffany was such a fun-loving soul who had a way of making people smile. She loved her coffee ☕, and if you knew Tiffany, you knew how special her hugs were! She gave the BEST hugs, the kind that made you feel loved and reminded you how much the little things matter. She also had a love for Jesus that was so special, and what a blessing it is to know that her faith was part of who she was. ❤️

It’s the everyday moments that we will miss the most. The laughs, the hugs, the coffee, and simply having her there with us. I wish we could have just one more hug, one more laugh, and one more day together.

Tiffany, I hope you knew how much you were loved. You were so much more than a member of Chances. You were family. I am so thankful we got to share a part of this journey with you, and I know you will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Sweet Tiffany the next time we pour a cup of coffee, we will think of you. And we sure would give anything for one of those big hugs right about now. ☕🤗💗

🍂 Another great day at Chances of the Ozarks! 🍂

Today we painted pinecones, made snacks together, and had fun with a fall guessing game. While we were having fun, we were also building important skills along the way! 🎨🧀🎃

✨ Skills practiced today:
• Fine motor skills through painting and crafting
• Creativity and self-expression
• Following directions and completing tasks
• Counting and estimating during our guessing game
• Kitchen and food preparation skills
• Communication and teamwork
• Decision-making and problem-solving
• Social skills and building friendships

The best part? Learning happens naturally when you’re having fun with friends! ❤️

🍂🌾 We’re ready for fall… now if the weather would just cooperate! 🌾🍂

Our Chances of the Ozarks crew has been busy creating some incredible scarecrows and dreaming of cooler days, pumpkin spice, bonfires, and sweatshirt weather! 🎃🔥

Until then, we’ll keep making memories, sharing laughs, and showing off our creativity one scarecrow at a time.

Which scarecrow is your favorite? 👇🍁
