This week's Thankful Thursday is a little different. It isn't about something that was donated or something someone did for us.
This week, we are thankful for our guestsβand all of the people who love them.
Every guest who comes through our doors brings their own family, friends, stories, memories, and so much love into our home. Their visitors don't just bring comfort to the person they're here to see; they bring something special to the entire house.
When we have a full houseβall three of our guest rooms filledβthere can be a lot of people coming and going. And honestly, it's one of my favorite things to watch.
Families who came here as complete strangers begin talking in the kitchen or living room. They check in on one another. They share stories, laughs, tears, and sometimes simply sit together. While each family is walking their own journey with someone they love, they often find comfort and support in others who understand what they're going through in a way few people can.
So many relationships have been formed within the walls of The Comfort Homeβbetween guests, families, visitors, caregivers, volunteers, and people who may never have crossed paths otherwise.
Today, we're thankful for our village. π
We're thankful that when someone comes to The Comfort Home, they don't have to walk this journey alone. And we're thankful for every guest and every person who loves them who has become a part of our home and our story.

Because at the end of the day, this home is so much more than these wallsβit's the people inside them. π π
