As the hot weather continues to lower the lake level, Jon Bick found this evaporation calculator to be pretty eye opening. 1/4” to 1/2” evaporates daily in 80 degree weather. 😮

🌎🌿 April 15 – National Environmental Education Day 🌿🌎

At the Indian River Lakes Conservancy, we believe that inspiring a love of nature starts young because you protect what you love. 💚

One of the ways we bring that mission to life is through our Kids’ Nature Camp at Redwood Hill Preserve, where children ages 3–13 can explore, learn, and connect with the outdoors in a hands-on, meaningful way.

✨ Camp Highlights:

Dates: July 14–16
Pre-K Program (ages 3–4): July 14 & 15 ONLY, 9:00–11:00 AM (parents must stay)
All Other Age Groups: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Registration will run May 1 – May 10, and space fills quickly—so be sure to plan ahead!

If you removed the fishing line recycling tube from the Sixberry boat ramp please return it. It keeps the line out of the water and helps to protect Loons.
