SHARE & CREATE at Redwood Area Arts

During the month of August, we will have a Community Art Show called “Portraits of Downtown.” At this months Share & Create, we will be on a discovery for inspiration. Meet up first at Redwood Area Arts for a snack and to learn more about the Community Art Show and then we will go on a walk-about downtown to sketch, photograph, write and get ideas for your “Portraits of Downtown” art submission. The community art show is open to all art mediums and all levels of skill. Come have some fun!

Redwood Area Arts has the pleasure of exhibiting the masterful artwork of Dona Larkin. Dona is a lifelong painter who lives south of Renville, MN with her husband, Joe. Her paintings have been juried into exhibitions across the U.S. and has had her work auctioned on Sothebys.com. Her artwork can be found in public and private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Dona's exhibition will begin Thursday, June 18 and continue through Saturday, August 1. An artists reception will be held at Redwood Area Arts on Saturday, July 18, 1-3pm. All are welcome, light refreshments will be served.

Our last stop will be at Wise Acre Eatery and to expedite a bus load, we are given a menu choice to help them out. There is a link in your email to fill out a menu choice if you choose to eat there.
