Registration is now open for the 14th Annual OYE Latinx Youth Conference on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Cañada College! This day is an opportunity for youth and their parents to explore questions of identity and purpose, and build community through a fun and interactive day that includes hands-on workshops, inspirational speakers, artistic expression, community resource sharing, and networking. This event is completely free!

Our keynote speaker for OYE 2025 is Michelle Vilchez. For more than two decades, Michelle’s passion and work in community engagement has been and continues to be a testimony to this year’s theme, Together, We Rise. She is an engaging and motivational leader - currently the CEO of Innovate Public Schools and former Executive Director of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center. In April 2016, she was honored as the California State Assembly Woman of the Year. We are thrilled to have Michelle join us as a speaker and workshop provider at this year’s conference.Nuestra oradora principal para OYE 2025 es Michelle Vilchez. Durante más de dos décadas, la pasión y el trabajo de Michelle en la participación comunitaria han sido y siguen siendo un testimonio del tema de este año, Juntos, Avanzamos. Es una líder motivadora; actualmente es directora ejecutiva de Innovate Public Schools y ex directora ejecutiva del Centro de Resolución de Conflictos Península. En abril de 2016, fue honrada como la Mujer del Año de la Asamblea Estatal de California.
