🎙️ THREE FILMMAKERS WALK INTO A PODCAST… 🎬 And what do they talk about? The ups, the downs, and EVERYTHING in between! Fundraising, writing, directing, producing, and all the challenges that sometimes feel like forces working against us as we try to bring our visions and stories into the world. BUT HERE WE ARE! We're DOING IT. Not just talking about it!

🎬 Belgica Rodriguez wrote, produced, and acted in her first short film, THE BIRTHDAY CAKE. Olga directed her first feature-length documentary, STILL ALIVE: 40 Years of Su***de Commando. And Tony Gapastione is finishing his first independently produced TV pilot, NONPROFITING.

Three filmmakers. Three different projects. LOTS of lessons learned! Let's talk about what it really takes to make things happen, what we're learning along the way, and how we keep going when the obstacles seem endless. Because making films is HARD, but we're making them anyway! 💪🎥

🎬 BraveMaker Acting Academy = MORE THAN A CLASS!

We are proud that for some actors, our classes are their FIRST opportunity to work on a real film set. For others, it's their FIRST IMDb credit. And still for others who have been acting for a long time, it's one of the only time they get in front of the camera for the year after constant auditioning. And for some, it's the FIRST time they get to see themselves on the BIG SCREEN when their film premieres at our BraveMaker Film Festival! 🎥🍿

We're not just teaching acting. We're making films, building community, creating opportunities, and helping actors grow their confidence, craft, and careers!

🔥 We have ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT in our upcoming DRAMA session (starts Wednesday October 14th), where we'll tackle one of the most powerful and challenging stories we've ever brought to life.

The working title? esSAys.

If you know, you know.

🎭 Bay Area actors, this is your invitation to be part of something meaningful. Come make a film with us!

🎬 BAY AREA ACTORS! THIS IS FOR YOU. 🎭

Learning to act in a studio is one thing. Learning to ACT while you’re actually ON SET—with cameras rolling, a crew working around you, and real production pressure—is another. 🎥

That’s what BraveMaker Academy is all about.

This is for serious actors who want more than another acting class.

🎭 1. GET YOUR REPS IN.
Train, rehearse, take direction, make adjustments, and grow as an actor.

🎥 2. GET IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA.
Don’t just practice scenes in a classroom. Take what you’re learning onto a REAL FILM SET and experience the filmmaking process.

🔥 3. GET FOOTAGE FOR YOUR REEL.
Walk away with professionally produced footage you can actually use to show people what you can do.

🍿 4. SEE YOUR WORK ON THE BIG SCREEN.
Your finished film gets a THEATRICAL FILM FESTIVAL SCREENING—complete with a RED CARPET! 🎬 Bring your friends and family and celebrate what you made together.

❤️ 5. FIND YOUR CREATIVE COMMUNITY.
You’re not just signing up for a class. You’re becoming part of BraveMaker—a fully inclusive, friendly, encouraging, dynamic community of actors, filmmakers, and creatives.

🤝 BraveMaker offers monthly mixers, classes, internships, filmmaking opportunities, and our annual film festival—all designed to help you build relationships and keep growing creatively.

💰 And here’s the thing: BraveMaker Academy is competitively priced with other Bay Area acting classes that can cost nearly the same amount—but may only give you ONE piece of what we’re offering.

With BraveMaker Academy, you get:

🎭 ACTING TRAINING

🎥 ON-SET EXPERIENCE

🔥 REEL FOOTAGE

🍿 A THEATRICAL PREMIERE

❤️ A CREATIVE COMMUNITY

📅 CLASSES START OCTOBER 14!

🚀 If you’re ready to stop waiting for someone to give you an opportunity and start making something, JOIN US.
