These Easter bunny helpers assembled 75 Easter baskets today to hand out to the community. This marks our fourth year participating in this event, thanks to Judy Cooper Higday’s efforts!

I had the privilege of attending the Rotary District Learning Assembly and Project Fair yesterday, an inspiring annual event dedicated to preparing and motivating incoming 2026 Club Presidents, District Governors, and 2027 nominees.
I’m always in awe of the incredible work Rotarians are doing, both locally and globally. From donating cars to veterans, to loaning medical equipment within the community, to funding life-saving open-heart surgeries for babies in underserved regions - the impact is truly profound.
The session was led by incoming District 5150 Governor YuHui Chen and moderated by current Governor Mitone Griffiths. A message that deeply resonated with me: when we come together with purpose, guided by Rotary’s motto, ‘Service Above Self,’ we can build a more compassionate and peaceful world for all.

Our club raised and donated $850 to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley at our December 16th meeting. Thanks to Community Engagement Officer Janette Brambila Lopez and Barbara from the Speakers Bureau for their presentation.

From the new year, RWC Rotary will host their regular lunch meetings at Milagros. As you can see, there are plenty of empty seats with your name on it if you wish to join us!

44 years with Redwood City Rotary! At today’s send-off luncheon, he spoke with great fondness for all the service projects he was involved in: Rotary Exchange, Homebound, Duck Races, Dictionary book drive, Yulgransplundring— just to name a few. His kindness, enthusiasm for projects, and his sense of humor will be missed!
