AgeUp has four volunteer programs where you do these things -- not symbolically, but in practice:

🌟 Friendly Visitors, building companionship with long term care residents
🌟 Kindness Crew, visiting residences for an activity or to perform
🌟 Ombudsman Program, advocating on behalf of residents
🌟 Phone Buddies, calling weekly to chat
