We’ve brought in the cha-cha-cha-changes this year with our new staff at KMUD whocleaned and updated our studio! 🧹🎨

KMUD celebrates Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🥳🏳️‍⚧️

We are still having Sohum Pride, but have decided to move it to September after much discussion and due to the hot weather for performers.

Its our 39th Birthday!!🎉🎂🎁🎈🎊

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to KMUD in the last 39 years...volunteering, building our new studio after we moved out of the cabins in Garberville, DJing, our talk show hosts, staff, founders, donors, grantee's, sponsors and time contributed to our community radio here in Southern Humboldt. We wouldn't be people powered without YOU!

Through times of hardship and fun, we've hung tough and we're proud of how far we've come. We're struggling with CPB funding loss going into 2027 even with the Spring Drive and Block Party. We'll persevere, but know that we are currently in a time of hardship and could use volunteers to help with events that help us stay afloat.

Help us celebrate by making a donation, donating a car or helping volunteer. Together, we can keep the Mud flowing for another 39 years!

Target could NEVER.

We work with Local printers in Northern California and Humboldt County to create our merch.

Everything is 100% cotton and Embroidered or Screen Printed, with the exception of our tote bags and youth shirts that are digitally printed.

Hey Humboldt!! We're excited to announce that we'll have a booth on select Fridays at Eureka's Friday Night Market.

We have volunteers for most of our dates, but we're looking for 2 volunteers for our booth June 16th, grab a friend and volunteer!

Your goal as a volunteer for our booth will be to Inform the community about KMUD, sell merch, take donations, and have fun!
