☀️Join Adams and RBEF for the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk supporting kids with special needs AND our public schools.
 
MORE WALKERS = MORE MONEY TO OUR SCHOOL. This is the best part: the $30 registration fee alwayscomes right back to our school!
 
↗️Sign up your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and even your PETS. This is also a great opportunity for family members and grandparents near and far to support our school. The more registered walkers we get, the more money our school receives!

🚶🏻🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏾‍♂️How will you walk on Sunday, October 18th? Will you…Walk the walk? Virtual Walk? Walk your Dog? All registered walkers (in person or virtual) count for your school.
 
Mrs. Mata has pledged that funds raised will go toward refreshing the fitness center, a space that all Eagles use!
 
Register your walkers (not donors) today:
 
1. FIND YOUR SCHOOL AND JOIN TEAM. If you registered last year, log in using the same email and password. If not, sign up as a New User and click Join as a New Participant.
2. FOLLOW THE PROMPTS to continue registering.
3. REGISTER EACH WALKER SEPARATELY. If you’d like to give a larger donation, please do so in the form of separate walkers so we get the full credit for each walker!
4. REMEMBER TO SELECT THE “REDONDO BEACH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION” so Adams can benefit from your contribution.

📣Eagle Parents!

We could use some help with our FIRST Hands On Art (HOA) project of the year called “From Street to Gallery.” It will be taught on Monday, 10/19, Thursday, 10/22, and Friday, 10/23.
• After school on Monday, October 19 for periods 0, 7, Independent PE and anyone who doesn’t want to miss PE on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• During PE periods 2, 4 and 6 on Thursday, October 22
• During PE periods 1, 3 and 5 on Friday, October 23

🖌️We are looking for 5-7 parent helpers for each period.  Please sign up and be an HOA helper!
🧹Helpers assist with set-up/clean-up and assist students as needed with supplies.
💙Helpers will not be teaching the lesson.

🎨Students will learn the history of graffiti and how it has evolved into a recognized and accepted art form. They will then create their own graffiti-style lettering piece using liquid watercolors and markers to mimic spray-paint techniques.

🤗Join Principal Brooke Mata, Eileen Leckenby, Director, RBUSD Educational Services and Leslie Spainhower, Adams Language Arts teacher for a discussion of the new iReady Diagnostic tool and how it impacts our students. This is a great opportunity to learn about iReady and ask any questions that you may have.💻

☕️Coffee and pastries will be hosted by your PTSA.
