Shout out to Beale AFB and help us support the Michigan War Dogs Memorial with this tshirt fundraiser. They’re unveiling a monument to honor war dogs that were lost in Iraq and Afghanistan during operations OEF/OIF. If you can’t purchase, please at least help us spread the word. They deserve their recognition as much as the human side. K9 leads the way!

Two years ago, my family and I came up with an idea to give a handful of high school students the opportunity to work alongside us and learn how to train service dogs for veterans. To be honest, we didn’t know exactly what the program would become, but we jumped in with both feet.

What has emerged has exceeded anything we could have imagined. The young leaders this program has produced are truly second to none.

To recognize outstanding leadership, we created the The Dawgs Project Leadership Award, presented to the volunteer who best exemplifies our core values:

• Integrity
• Service Before Self
• Excellence in All You Do

This year’s Top Dawg is Jaqueline Gonzalez—a remarkable leader who consistently demonstrates these values through her actions and commitment to others. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and have no doubt that she will continue to achieve great things in the future.

Congratulations, Jaqueline, and thank you for setting the standard for those who follow
