Volunteers and Foster Homes Needed! Due to the recent housing crisis, dogs are being abandoned at shelters at record rates as their families are forced to relocate. The increased cost of living has forced many families to make the difficult decision to surrender their beloved family members. Those who can help, need to help these healthy, happy dogs find their new forever homes. Can you foster a dog for a few days
or weeks? It's easy, fun and extremely rewarding. A foster home simply provides a warm, loving home for the dogs, and we do
the rest! We find, interview, and accept the family who wishes to adopt your rescued dog. You give us insights into the dogs
personality, which helps us to find the ideal home. We pay for any expenses that you incur.

Clementine is a loving, calm, 5 year old English Bulldog mix who just wants to be cuddled! Clementine was abandoned on the streets and taken in by a good samaritan. She is now loving life with her foster family. Clementine is about 45lbs, is house trained, and gets along great with other dogs (big and small), all people, and kids. She isn’t destructive or nervous. She just likes to be where her people are. She is a typical English bulldog mix—she snores a little, drools a little, and is generally lazy, but loves people and just wants to snuggle all the time. She doesn’t need a lot of exercise, a walk around the block is about all she is up for. She just needs a home that can give her the attention she deserves.
We had her seen by our vet and she is perfectly healthy. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Clementine is an incredible dog and will bring a lot of love and joy into any home. She's so sweet and well behaved

This sweet lady is looking for a foster or forever home. She loves to cuddle and is great with kids and other dogs. She has a relaxed personality and would fit in to just about any home. SHELTER BOUND! These 2 bonded 2 yr old dogs will be dumped at the shelter if a foster or adopter is not found. They are healthy, happy miniature Poodles. FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Meet Willow! She's the kind of puppy who surprises everyone she meets. Sweet, gentle, and incredibly smart, she already knows sit, down, recall, and is eager to learn even more. She's remarkably well-mannered for her age, is crate trained, and has shown excellent house manners in foster care. Willow is small and weighs just 35 lbs. She walks nicely on a leash and is fine passing other dogs on a walk. Willow is literally the perfect young dog. She'd be appropriate for any family, including first time dog owners.

Willow is affectionate without being overwhelming and loves being near her people. She's very devoted and loving. Willow is the type of dog who thrives when given opportunities to learn, explore, and use her brain. Because shes so intelligent, shell do best with an adopter who enjoys training and can provide the mental and physical stimulation she needs to reach her full potential.

She is very calm and has not shown any tendency to jump fences, and doesn't have any destructive or hyper tendencies. Willow settles nicely in her crate, or will lay quietly by your side while you work. With continued guidance and structure, Willow is going to make an exceptional companion.

If youre looking for a loving, trainable, and highly intelligent young dog to grow alongside, Willow may be your perfect match. She'd be a great family dog!

This little senior cutie was surrendered to a high kill shelter, and her time had run out. Her family neglected her then dumped her off to be killed. When we heard her story, we sent a volunteer to save her on her last day! She's very scared and a little spicy, but after some time, is warming up to our foster mom. She will need an experienced dog home that is willing to give her time to feel safe and decompress. She weighs less than 7 lbs, is badly matted, and has really bad teeth. She'll be seen by our vet, given a full exam, lab work, dental and grooming. Meet Ike! He's a sweet well behaved puppy looking for a foster and forever home. Ike is about 8 months old so mostly full grown at 10 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and everyone he meets. Ike has a great personality and is very smart. He's already learning all the house rules. Ike has the mesmerizing green eyes and a beautiful coat. We've had him seen by our vet. LOST DOG IN LOMITA! Romeo got out and was last seen running down PCH near Pennsylvania Ave. He can be skittish around men but is a very sweet and gentle dog. Please help! Rosie's dad passed away and now Rosie needs a new home. Rosie is probably the most perfect dog you could ever meet. She loves to play with other dogs, is gentle with small dogs and ignores cats. Rosie is extremely smart and loving. She's very affectionate and happy to sit quietly by your side while your work pr watch TV. Rosie enjoys car rides and is well socialized. She's only about a year old and healthy. We think she looks like a cattle dog /shepherd mix. Let us know in the comments what breed you think Rosie might be.

Foster and forever homes needed for these handsome gentlemen. After a messy divorce and an out of state move, this father and son duo were left behind. We accepted them into our rescue to prevent them from going to the shelter. They are so incredibly loving and sweet. They love to cuddle and give kisses. Anyone who's had a Doxie knows how affectionate and smart they are. They have great personalities and get along well with everyone. The son has the white chest and is about 3 yrs old. The dad is about 5 yr old. We will take them to our vet for full exams, vaccinations, neuter and a microchip. If you'd like to foster or adopt one or both, please email [email protected].
