South Bay Children's Health Center

South Bay Children's Health Center SBCHC Non-Profit has provided families with access to high quality mental health and dental services since 1947

The vision of the South Bay Children's Health Center is that all children will have every opportunity possible to fulfill their potential and lead healthy lives by having their dental, mental, emotional, and other health needs met. We work to attain this through the provision of outpatient mental health and dental services to children, adolescents, and young adults who come from low to moderate in

come families and who cannot afford these vital health services. We provide our services through our Child Guidance Clinic, Dental Clinic, and the South Bay Youth Project.

πŸ€πŸ’› Happy International Day of Friendship!

Friendship is more than sharing laughs and making memories, it helps children and teens feel connected, supported, and valued. Positive friendships can build confidence, reduce stress, and remind young people that they don't have to face life's challenges alone.

At SBCHC, we believe that every child deserves to feel a sense of belonging and know they have people who care about them. A kind word, a listening ear, or simply showing up for a friend can make a lasting difference.

Today, let's celebrate the power of friendship and encourage our young people to lift each other up, practice kindness, and create communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and included. 🌟

Tag a friend who has made a positive impact in your life and let them know how much they mean to you! πŸ’•

🫢 Today is International Self-Care Day! πŸ’š

Self-care isn't selfish - it's an important part of staying healthy, resilient, and connected. Whether it's taking a walk, reading a favorite book, practicing deep breaths, spending time with loved ones, or simply taking a moment to rest, small acts of self-care can make a big difference.

At SBCHC, we encourage children, teens, parents, and caregivers to prioritize their mental well-being and remember that caring for yourself helps you better care for others.

What is one small thing you'll do for yourself today? Share it with us in the comments! 🌿✨
