Rotary Club of Redmond The Rotary Club of Redmond is a nonprofit service organization, part of Rotary International. Meeting schedule at https://redmondrotary.org

We meet every Thursday, alternating between lunch and evening meetings, with a breakfast meeting once per quarter. Redmond Rotary is a nonprofit leadership organization and a member of Rotary International. Business, nonprofit and community leaders build friendships and help our community. The Club meets the first and third Thursdays at noon at the Family Pancake House (or on Zoom) and the second and fourth Thursdays at Postdoc Brewing. Find out more about the club at www.redmondrotary.org The club's major yearly fundraiser is a 20-mile mountain bike ride through Redmond and the watershed. Dubbed "Stinky Spoke" it is typically held on the stinkiest weather day of the year in January. Good times, bad weather! The Rotary Club of Redmond had four visitors at this evening's meeting, and one of our visitors who is planning to visit a Rotary club in Japan next month took one of our club's flags to exchange with the club in Japan. We had a wonderful time tonight meeting new people and talking about various service projects and other activities of our club and foundation.

The Rotary Club of Redmond is the spotlight organization at OneRedmond's final Arts In The Park event of the season today from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Downtown Park in Redmond. Come and visit our tent, and hear our Club President, David North speak briefly from the stage about the good things we do for our local community and the world. For each of these four Saturdays in September we have provided volunteers to help make this inaugural Arts In The Park season a success. In the process, we've met even more new community volunteers. We'd love to meet you today at our tent!

One year ago today ten Rotary Club of Redmond members participated in a visioning workshop, facilitated by Rotary District 5030. The purpose was to look three years into the future and start the process of getting from where we were as a Club to where we want to be in three years from that day. A week ago at one of our regular meetings we revisited our path and progress, and we've made some good strides in the first year, with more to do in the years ahead. We continue to increase our impact for good in our own local Redmond community, and more generally in our state and the world, with a growing member base and many other volunteers from our diverse and vibrant community.

Rotary Club of Redmond volunteer Lyle North (center) is tonight's sound system tech for the performers at Redmond's Arts in the Park, on a gorgeous late afternoon and evening at Downtown Park in Redmond. The Rotary Club of Redmond is a sponsor of the series of performances each Saturday in September, produced by the OneRedmond Foundation. About a third of tonight's event volunteers were provided by our Club.
